KnowledgeView Hosts its “App Factory Gathering” – Summer Edition
KnowledgeView of London and Beirut, the leading application developer in MENA region and Europe, hosted its App Factory Gathering- summer edition at Crown Plaza Beirut last Thursday. The event was attended by CEOs and IT managers from over 70 companies from different sectors in Lebanon and the region. Among the key attendees in the event was Phil Erhart, Apple EMEA region and Roman Gallo, founder of Gallo Multimedia consultancy.During the event, KnowledgeView unveiled its latest apps for media, organizations and private sector companies. The new apps are tailored per industry and designed to integrate the specific requirements needed for each sector. These Apps will empower businesses to maximize their presence and further their engagement with clients at minimal cost. Most packages are hosted by KnowledgeView and supported by their IT team. “With KnowledgeView tailored apps, these particular industries will no longer have to define their needs and invent the wheel. As a proof of concept in action, KnowledgeView showcased its innovative editorial tool “EasyPublish” where a volunteer from the audience was invited to test it and publish in real time to the company’s iPad app “KnowledgeView Connect” and other channels such as Facebook, and Twitter. The event was concluded with an interesting presentation by Phil Erhart, Apple Incorporation EMEA, where he reflected on KnowledgeView’s contribution to the Apple world. He further demonstrated on the latest trends on Apple products and how the App revolution shaped businesses in different industries. He showcased few examples on how revenues could be generated from subscriptions and advertisements on the apps.
